BLOG---Let the Tour Begin!

This Thursday is fast approaching which means the tour is beginning!  Kicking off at one of the country’s most famous venues, Blues Alley, we will begin our journey.

Right now, the road begins in Washington, DC, then we head down to the Caribbean for the month of November.   Next stops: LA, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Virginia and the Carolina’s.  And, whatever you have heard about touring…well, it is all true.  The good, bad and the ugly.  This will be my third big tour, and so far, I have not grown tired of the concept.  Something about meeting new people, doing what you love and letting the creative side take you over completely, is so satisfying. 

Last week, we introduced our new show material to a Virginia radio station, and captured one of the songs (which we did completely differently then ever before) on tape.  I placed it on youtube (hopefully the audio is working today—yesterday—not so good.)  We did not plan for the song to come out in that style, but that is the creative side that releases once you just let go.

And speaking of YouTube – our video did another jump on the viral chain.  We are just under 300,000 views!  Who would have thought?!  We even broke into Zimbo’s World News.    Pretty fun stuff.
